Other Happenings is the name for non-continuity stories set in the SU Univer, using SU characters, or just written by SU authors. They can either be independent stories, or linked with other non-continuity stories.
Nothing happening in an Other Happening's story has any bearing on the SU Universe or a character beyond that story.
Other Happenings stories are used to write stories that might not be possible due to continuity, to practice writing skills, to test new concepts, or to simply write a story that has nothing to do with SU such as original fiction.
Just as with continuity stories, no mainstream characters owned by other comapnies can be used except as comparison in character creation.
The other rules are.
1. Just as with continuity stories, the writer must ask permission to use a creator's character. The rules reguarding this from continuity stories apply. Those rules may be reviewed here.
2. Unlike continuity stories, an SU character can appear in more than one Other Happenings story at the same time.
3. Permission from a character's creator is not needed to destroy a character in a non-continuity story.
