Other Happenings the official label for non-continuity stories using the SU universe, SU characters, or just stories written by SU authors. These stories are not in SU Universe continuity, so events from these stories may or may not carry over to other non-continuity stories.
The normal rules of writing do not really apply and there is no rule on the number of non-conuity stories can be being written at once. The normal rules for aquiring and creating characters apply, though characters can be destroyed in non-continuity stories without consulting their creator.
The Other Happening label gives SU authros the chance to write without continuity restriction and gives them more freedom in the outcome of their story. Most authors use non-continuity stories to practice writing or to test character concepts.
To submit a request for non-continuity characters, visit the SU message board and browse the SU character database. To post an SU Other Happenings story, post it at the message board's Other happenings forum. New Other happenings stories are placed on the site from the forums after they are completed.
